This morning 12 folks participated in the first Nalle Bunny Run group walk of 2014. It was a beautiful morning morning, clear and calm, starting out at about 31 degrees and ending up at around 60. We started at 9:00 AM and spent over 2 hours covering 1.5 miles.
The biggest highlight was when Roger Smith found probably the same male Eastern Towhee on the northeast corner of the preserve. Here's a poor photo.

Other highlights included many active Ruby-crowned Kinglets, a good look at an Eastern Phoebe, being in the middle of a mixed group of Cedar Waxwings and American Robins feeding on berries, and a beautiful Pine Warbler that got close enough to reach out and touch.
