Heads up: Some or all of the identifications affected by this split may have been replaced with identifications of Styphelieae. This happens when we can't automatically assign an identification to one of the output taxa. Review identifications of Leucopogon 83594

Taxonomic Split 115006 (Committed on 29-09-2022)

Many Leucopogon species carved off as Styphelia
e.g. Leucopogon appressus -> Styphelia appressa
so we need to split Leucopogon to account for its thinned/narrowed meaning

so have all observations sitting at just Leucopogon been stepped back to Styphelieae?

yes - unfortunate outcome of the split (since the output taxa overlapped and atlases couldn't be used) but they should be easy for one IDer to roll forward to genus if inclined, and there were enough 'unintended disagreements' from the much narrowed Leucopogon that I thought it was worth it because it takes many IDs to outweigh a disagreement
