These kinds of nomenclatural corrections on orthography are always sourced to the global fungal nomenclator IndexFungorum. That is the authority for nomenclature in fungi (like IPNI in plants), but not a source of authoritative taxonomic opinion unfortunately.

This is a case where it is really a correction of spelling - which we can't do - rather than a 'taxon swap' in the pure sense.
