May EcoQuest

NYC Official Wildflower Candidate Quest

WildflowerNYC is a campaign to restore the connection between New Yorkers and our wild flora by voting for an official NYC wildflower. Botanical organizations from each borough have nominated the candidates, and now it is up to the people to vote! For our May EcoQuest, we have partnered with the WildflowerNYC campaign to highlight these 5 wildflower species, introduce them to our community scientists, and document their distribution throughout the city. Which wildflower will win?
