My name is Ben. I am an amateur birder, photographer and naturalist from the Western Sydney area. I have been studying animal care over the past few years, and I aspire to be an ornithologist, ecologist and conservationist.

I am an enthusiast for Australian native parrots and Proteaceae, such as Banksia, Grevillea and Hakea. As you can tell from my observations, they are my favourite species to photograph and observe.
