Struggling to eat a small Giant Pacific Octopus on the pocket beach south of Pier 62 during a minus 3 foot tide. The gull made several attempts to swallow it whole, but it appeared to be too big.

First time seeing Barred Owl killed a crow.

The Barred owl ate the crow later on.

Caught 2 hours after low tide. The sea was calm with some surf. The wind was a gentle northerly. The tide was a neap tide.
