Description

I found this adorable, tiny (maybe 1.25") baby turtle wandering in my woods. I was sure that it was a water turtle of some sort (there's a pond nearby), but it is actually a little box turtle. I see an adult box turtle or two in my woods every summer, so I'm pleased to know that they're successfully reproducing.
