Description
The only ogyris species present. At least 6-7 individuals. Much larger (surprisingly large) and darker than O. olane. Perched on both dead branches and occasionally canopy (which I have never seen O. olane do). Inat lists subspecies but I can’t find a range map showing them.

Description
Two individuals. Appeared at around 1800 which is consistent with my previous experience of this species. A moderately strong and slightly cool S\SE wind was blowing and as a result they were perching on the lee side of their favourite tree. 27 degrees but felt much cooler due to wind chill.

Description
Emerging from pupae. In the fourth photo, the middle pupa is just beginning to emerge. Antennae and legs are visible at the top. We returned three days later. The two butterflies beginning to emerge from their pupae were unchanged, so they must have died while trying to get out.
