Second observation, a few days later

Tracks in mud - about 2 inches high by a little over 2 inches wide.

The chipmunk that made these tracks was foraging on the beach.

New track for me if correct. On the hind right foot, I see toes 1 and 5 splayed horizontally out to the sides, with toes 2-5 starting in the middle then splaying wide. Bounding pattern.

Up to three of a litter for four half-grown kittens. Photos taken over about half an hour of observation. Exact location not recorded; eastern portion of Parque Nacional Torres del Paine.

An acorn tucked into a woodpecker hole. I couldn't get my phone to focus on the acorn. I believe Red-Bellied Woodpeckers and Acorn Woodpeckers are the only ones that do this?
