Day 1 of the bioblitz brought 250 observations, including 107 species, by 57 observers. This is rather remarkable given the stormy weather across much of Oregon in April 1, 2023. The most commonly observed native species? Trillium ovatum. All of the observations were from Western Oregon. It's a great start. Here's hoping for improving weather!
