This is really great. I've only seen your journal note by chance. It feels like finding useful things people have spotted / created / are involved in is a bit by chance on iNaturalist at the moment? but perhaps things will get easier. Or maybe I just don't know how to look :)
On GBIF? Lars one a second prize with this software and was a link which descirbs ths software. but I could not find it.

Well it's great and thank you for posting it. I'm not surprised they won a prize.
(I shouldn't take the 40k very seriously, I have gone for things that are very distinctive and common :)
