Amateur botanist and former scientist. Master Thesis research focused on forested wetland restoration in old fields including tree colonization. Dissertation and Post-Doc focused on planted tree survival and growth in created/restored forested wetlands and federal regulations protecting wetlands. Luckily, I get outside regularly with my current occupation.
