I have always had a love of nature and science since as early as I can remember. I was born in Maryland and spent part of my childhood on the Bay and then moved to Florida before ending up in Kentucky because of my Mother's love of horses which I share. Kentucky was a great place to spend my teenage years in the back woods and hallows of west-central Kentucky. I went to Berea College and graduated with a B.S. in Agriculture and had a blast exploring the Pinnacles of Berea during my 4 years. I am very much drawn to the sea and love exploring the coastal areas when ever life has permitted. I live outside of Danville, Kentucky and that puts me in easy drive of a lot of great natural areas to hike in and explore and I suspect I could live 50 more years and still not get to explore them completely.
