Amature mycologist, hobbyist, student, and mycophile on the Kitsap Peninsula in western Washington.

Currently, I'm trying to learn more about further identifying mushrooms and delving into the world of microscopy in my free time.

I've never really been the biology type of guy, more math and physical science and all that. I think mycology is really interesting, and has made my understanding and appreciation of nature even more intricate and close.

I currently have an AmScope B120 brightfield microscope, which I use to image the microstructures of certain specimens. I also have a DSLR that I put to good use, especially when a cool mushroom finds itself popping up near my house!

I try to contribute to iNat not only by observing, but also identifying. I typically do identifications of macrofungi in my region (i.e. western Washington, Oregon, and B.C.). Feel free to correct me, I'm definitely still learning :)
