I'm a wildlife biologist based in Orange County, California. Birds are my taxonomic specialty, but I try and document all sorts of life while out on the trail, particularly plants. I especially love finding new plant records in the less-well known hills and canyons in the area, particularly the Chino Hills.

I'm also a longtime volunteer and former board member of Sea and Sage Audubon Society, and serve as compiler of the Puente-Chino Hills Christmas Bird Count. Previously, I received my Master's in Biology at UCLA, where I studied novel nesting behavior in urban Dark-eyed Juncos.

Feel free to reach out! Always love making new naturalist friends.
