I am the Director of a local non-profit, Coastal Plains Institute, that conducts scientific research within the southeastern coastal and provides environmental education opportunities.. We focus mainly on ephemeral wetlands and the species that depend on them. As a wildlife biologist, I have studied everything from fire ants to panthers but definitely have a passion for ephemeral pond-breeding amphibians...and amphibians in general.
