I've been interested in snakes since 2000. I began by having several pet snakes when I lived in Canada, to working at a zoo, and learning to work with venomous snakes as well. Now, I prefer to observe them in the wild, so I moved to Ecuador because the biodiversity is much higher than in Canada. Since my move, I have expanded my interest to include all herps, as there are so many fascinating frogs and lizards too. I really enjoy expeditions to find new species and to photograph any herp species, though I will also photograph many other animals if the opportunity knocks. I typically list locations by province. The reason is some species are vulnerable so non-specific locations generally prevent poaching and other issues for those populations. Feel free to check out my website:
