I work at London Health Center in Ferndale Washington as a Naturopathic Physician and Licensed Midwife, delivering babies at Bellingham Birth Center. However in my previous life I was a field botanist, and I continue to teach a Medicinal Field Botany class at Bastyr University each summer for the past two decades. I received my masters in botany from the University of Illinois at Champaign-Urbana, where I also worked with The Nature Conservancy's Prairie Grove Volunteers in prairie restoration.
