Avid hiker, looking to satisfy my curiosity about who & what I'm encountering in the parks.

<--- For example, meet Post Oak Grasshopper who landed on my windshield while driving to a trailhead. It then proceeded to climb up the windshield. I assumed it flew off, but instead, found it had been roof surfing for a few miles!

Favs are Orchidaceae and Lepidoptera, but I'll attempt to photograph and identify anything that holds still long enough! :-)
