Emma Loomis-Amrhein. Writer and naturalist residing in southern ohio. Birds and moths were my gateway into slowing down, and they continue to remind me to look up.
Currently especially fascinated by beetles, gall-forming insects, leaf miners, and fungi I've overlooked in the past, such as rusts and powdery mildews. I guess I've been looking at leaf abnormalities a lot lately.
I've learned so much from such a wide community of strangers here on iNat, and hope to give back half as much.
If queer nature writing is your thing, check out my book, evening primroses, at the following: https://www.recenterpress.com/store/p12/eveningprimroses.html
