I am plant taxonomist based at the University of South Bohemia, České Budějovice, Czechia. I like plants from all habitats and I do not avoid lab work, but waters, wetlands and mountains are my favourite environments. I studied Centaurea for my PhD (and still like this genus); currently I am involved in several project on aquatic plants, especially Ranunculus sect. Batrachium.
