A bunch of my favorites quotes, because profile space is unlimited ;) :

“Disinterested love for all living creatures, the most noble attribute of man.”

  • Charles Darwin, The Descent of Man (1871) ch. 3

“Man’s attitude toward nature is today critically important simply because we have now acquired a fateful power to alter and destroy nature. But man is a part of nature, and his war against nature is inevitably a war against himself.”

  • Rachel Carson

“One way to open your eyes is to ask yourself, "What if I had never seen this before? What if I knew i would never see it again?”

  • Rachel Carson again

“Those who dwell, as scientists or laymen, among the beauties and mysteries of the earth, are never alone or weary of life.”

  • Still Rachel Carson

“It seems to me that the natural world is the greatest source of excitement; the greatest source of visual beauty; the greatest source of intellectual interest. It is the greatest source of so much in life that makes life worth living.”

  • Rachel Car... David Attenborough

"Observing nature brings some joy, even if not a palliative or antidote, but a reminder that the world's brilliance goes on despite deaths."

  • Farhana Sultana

"So, naturalists observe, a flea has smaller fleas that on him prey; and these have smaller still to bite ’em; and so proceed ad infinitum."

  • Jonathan Swift

"Hardly any aspect of life is more characteristic than its almost unlimited diversity."

  • Ernst Mayr

"To live is to change"

  • Nausicäa of the Valley of the Wind

Now have some fun outside and remember to respect nature, Cheers :)
