I started off as a birder when I was little and my interest in the natural world has only grown since then. My main areas of interest are birds, moths, dragonflies, and epiphytes; but I'm open to learning about just about anything!

I'm an undergraduate at the University of British Columbia where I study biology and computer science, but I'm currently taking a year off to travel around Ecuador and get some research experience. My work in Ecuador has included studying birds, Spectacled Bears, moths, dragonflies, and more! I'm currently working on an integrated biological inventory of a newly acquired reserve for the Sustainable Roots Foundation in Cosanga.
