Hi all,
I am a hobbyist naturalist and Phd Student at the University of Delaware, where I study physical oceanography and ice-ocean interactions in Antarctica.
I grew up in Wisconsin and during undergrad had wonderful opportunities to study long term in mainland Ecuador, the Galapagos, and Costa Rica. Since then I have, most notably, worked as an outdoor educator focusing on the marine systems of Southern California and the Channel Islands.
Aside from the ocean, I have a passion for plants, their taxonomy, resilience, and ability to shape an ecosystem, along with their commercial, agricultural, or native uses.
