I'm a Program Manager in a large scientific training & education office by day who likes to escape the pressures of work by occasionally going outside to do things like geocache, rescue feral cats, and/or take pictures of interesting bits of nature in order to learn more about other kinds of biology. Expert in cancer invasion and metastasis, (continually learning, mostly self-taught) amateur in taxonomy. Originally from Atlanta, GA, but relocated to Maryland in July 2020.
I'm particularly into plants, most especially invasive plants and weird things that grow on plants (i.e. galls and plant pathogens).

This site is still under development but is a fantastic resource for anyone wanting to ID galls, from total newbies to gall veterans! Contact @megachile and/or @jeffdc for more info or to become a contributor yourself.
I'm continually learning taxonomy as this is not my usual domain of nerdy knowledge, so if I get an ID wrong, I'd love to hear why! Bonus points for sending links to publications and/or keys to help with IDs.
