I worked for the KY Nature Preserves for five years then four with the KY Chapter of The Nature Conservancy. I moved to FL and spent three years as the Restoration Manager at The Nature Conservancy's Disney Wilderness Preserve. The next 14 years was spent working with research, restoration and curation of rare FL native plants coordinating efforts between the Center for Plant Conservation and various state and federal entities. Fire, invasives, landscape scale restoration, endangered plants and habitats have been the running theme of my professional career. Now I'm retired and back on my native soil getting reacquainted with all my old KY plant friends.
