I am a microbiologist studying the filamentous saprophytic fungus, Aspergillus fumigatus in Jena, Germany. I am originally from the USA where I grew up chasing lightning bugs. I'm a fan of living things in pretty much all shapes and sizes, but I particularly enjoy watching corvids make trouble.
