I am a veterinarian in real life with a passion for reptiles, especially chameleons. I spent my doctoral thesis on panther chameleons in 2016. Since 2013 I am regularly on Madagascar to find and photograph reptiles. In the meantime, my interests have expanded to include not only chameleons and other reptiles, but also Malagasy lemurs and other mammals, praying mantises, phasmids, and spiders (the pretty little ones, not the ghastly huntsmen). Actually, I am interested in almost everything in Madagascar. When I am not in Madagascar, I work in a small animal practice near Frankfurt/Main.
