My passion lies in understanding plant species, their native ecological niches, and how geology shapes their distribution. I love learning to propagate their unique genetic heritage so they can be appreciated and conserved by more people; particularly overlooked, uncommon, or little-known species.

I truly believe recreating beautiful habitats and reintroducing biodiversity into people's lives would cultivate a happier and healthier overall public psyche. You can turn your backyard into a beautiful place to learn Natural Sciences and re-connect with the intricate living context that sustains us all.

My passions have always included permaculture, ethnobotany, and home food-gardening. However, witnessing the destruction of land and habitat around me due to development has fueled a new focus: learning how to cultivate and restore Texas' native and endemic plants, and recreating habitats. I especially love the peculiar limestone-endemic ("calciphiles") and sand-loving species.
