pond slider on greenbelt
I was walking at a local greenbelt today at lunch. It was a nice sunny day and I was able to count 42 pond sliders of varying sizes along the stream bank.
The smallest was about 4 inches in diameter and the largest was approx 12 inches.
I think there were more in the water but I did not want to disturb the ones on the bank. I thought I saw a few little heads poking out of the water in the stream. They looked very happy in the sun shine! The were several mallards ducks and a white egret there too.
