Unofficial Feature Requests

  • Possibility of using italic, bold and underlined characters in journal posts AND when editing IDs/comments directly from the Identify tab
  • Possibility of using annotation shortcuts not only to make new annotations, but to agree to existing annotations made by other users
  • Annotation related to the absence/presence of reproductive structures on conifers (class Pinopsida)
  • Possibility of following "Unknown" as a taxon

@frontyardscientist You can use Italic and bold characters in journal posts

using * italic * , ** bold ** without the spaces

like this :

I forgot to mention that you can also combine italic and bold by putting *** Italic & Bold *** without the spaces

As far as I know, underlining text is unfortunately not possible on iNaturalist.

What about striking through text? I've been so used to italicizing and emboldening text with keyboard shortcuts I never thought of adding the asterixis manually
