Hiked big plateau trail. Parked at Peaceful Valley Ranch. Trail dry. 5 mile hike. Few people. River crossing easy.

Visited the park today.

Overcast, cool 46 degrees F., moderate wind.

Highlights: new born bison, domestic horses, and turkeys. Neat lichens at burning coal vein.
