I was walking the forested area along Jackson Branch of White Rock Creek trying to remember where I had found milkweed during my last visit when I heard a bird I didn't recognize. Used Merlin to help and later confirmed as a migratory warbler making its way up north. Beautiful song!
I am not sure if including screenshots from Merlin throws off iNaturalist's Computer Vision model and may delete the image later if that is the case. I've seen them before but am not sure it is best practice to include.
Missing face
Merlin identified a common yellowthroat. Recorded in a densely wooded area next to a creek.
