Flatsedges (Genus Cyperus)

Observer

Date

Description

Collected some material since I wasn't sure about the species. Photos include achenes from two different plants growing next to each other, which I presumed to be the same species.

Solo work right off the old Ingraham Highway in the Hole-in-the-Donut, Restoration Area 2022. I collected data for the three plots on the eastern side of the restoration area.

Visited Green Turtle Hammock thanks to Patti's recommendation.

Had a nice day in the Upper and Middle Keys. I came down to give a talk to the Garden Club of the Upper Keys in Tavernier at 11AM and spent the rest of the day bioblitzing a few spots. More info about GCUP here: https://gardenclubupperkeys.org/
