As per discussion on this observation
Small fungi found clustered, growing from a mossy river embankment adjacent to a waterfall.
Round domed caps around 1cm in diameter, with fuzzy suede-like brown surface and raised edges.
Pinkish brown porous underside, connected to a short brown stipe.
Cantharellus "brunneus"
The only individual found in this area. Pretty cool
Found solitary on a dead burnt tree in the afternoon. Texture was soft springy squishy.
