Pair flying over grasslands in the hour of dawn
Found this guy flying around a street lamp. I went up the road to look for a wild male to breed with a female moth I reared. I got lucky I guess.

Singing away and scurrying around in an elderberry tree next to Johnson's Pasture Road in the Claremont Hills Wilderness Park.
My first thought was House Wren, but then I thought it might be a Pacific Wren, but House Wren is much more likely in this location, and I think it's a better fit.
On a public trail in the hills
About 2.5-3 feet long. At the edge of Johnson’s Pasture Road in the Claremont Hills Wilderness Park.
This appeared to be a relatively fresh bear cub carcass in Johnson’s Pasture.
