American Kestrel (Falco sparverius)

Description

The bird was a small raptor with long, slim, pointed wings, and they were hovering, which kestrels can do. The bird was very pretty, with blue, red, white, and black feathers. This is a very happy resident of my neighborhood, this family has been seen two years in a row and I look forward to seeing them more in our Residential community.
