Description

Scattered patches on limestone rocks. Leaves up to 4mm long. Leaves with broken tips, wavy margins with notches and isodiametrixmc cells overlying the nerve. Younger leaves with small teeth at apex.

On tumbledown wall and other rocks in limestone dale. Perichaetial leaves longer than capsules. Capsule walls have longer cells than Schistidium apocarpum. Leaves have no sinuose cells.
