Minúscula. Pegando sol sobre uma folha de capim, na borda da floresta
Mother & baby
An oddly-marked Leafhopper from Brazil's Atlantic Forest region.
The bold yellow and green markings on this large Lubber Grasshopper are a warning to predators that it probably tastes pretty awful. The largest known grasshoppers belong this family, which is now considered to be a subfamily of the Acrididae by some. The wingspan of the Neotropical species Tropidacris cristatus can reach an astounding 25cm (10 inches)!
