snorkeling from Mariners Cove into boat channel, along the riprap
Dive site Something Special, max depth 73ft / 22.3m.
Guaguanche or Southern Sennet; I'm leaning towards Guaguanche since the tail's not dark.
Sphyraena guachancho?
Very wary and difficult to photograph. I chased them for about one minute and they allowed me to get within maybe 10 ft at best a few times.

Observed patrolling bait ball near sandy bottom, ~50' depth
To 8.3 cm long. Large numbers were attracted to a light hung off a dock at night. Hovered off the bottom, probably attracted to zooplankton.
Three months after hatching from the egg case. Only 10 cm long.
Red Irish lord eggs
To 253 mm long. Characteristic white spots on first and fifth abdominal segments.
