Very sad that my first observation of this bird is not alive. Another window casualty. The DePaul building is not quite as lethal as the Clark Park boathouse, but I do usually find at least one dead bird every spring/fall there since I started walking past it in the mornings. Went to be picked up by CBCM with the dead sparrow and the live thrush already posted, and I collected some new lightweight collapsible small cardboard boxes and gloves in the hopes of finding more live rescues in the future. (Though as I’m posting this a massive thunderstorm just broke, so hopefully the birds lay low tonight…)
Would love some guidance as to weather this is a Louisiana waterthrush or Northern Waterthrush
