Moving quickly from the garage into the brush.

A rattlesnake found underneath a bridge. The moment the photo was taken, the snake was already staring in my general direction, flicking its tongue.

The shape of cerci confirm the ID as Plains. Note the thin line along distal edge of the metepimeron (i.e. where T5 would be located).

Appeared to be healthy 3/4 grown specimen.
