This salamander was found in the Clingman’s Dome parking lot. It was extremely lethargic and dry. We relocated it to the rock wall seepage where it slowly recovered and after a while it crawled into the crack in the wall.

This cringe cretin waited by the front door until I opened it on my way back inside and then JUMPED INSIDE. So I had to chase it out with a broom.
I am scared of grasshoppers and other similar bugs so that was torment for me.
These photos are on 3x zoom or greater. If I had to guess it was like 4ish inches but as someone whos scared of them I could be misremembering.
