Light buff/tan spore print
Scaly (squamose) cap and stipe, slightly sweet scent, growing on dead deciduous tree (red alder?) partial veil covering adnate gills
WX: rain within last 24hrs but not within last 10. ~64degrees Fahrenheit.
Location: under bush in tall forest.
Cap: Pulvinate dark brown, asymmetrical approximately 1.5” across, suede texture
Pores, not gills
Stem: 3” in length, slightly ventricose fusiform, flesh initially yellowish but rapidly turning blue green after cutting
Odor: insubstantial
Taste: nondescript
Spore print: brown
Under Alnus, on border of peatland.
