Found at Rio Bosque. I’m confident that this is Prosopis pubescens.

Approximately 1.5 ft tall, each spike is about 4 inches. Dark coloration at the end of each leaflet with thorns all down the edge of them.

I saw these lechuguilla while exploring a strip of desert.

Creosote bushes, very common in El Paso. Size of bush depends on area!

Found in the Tom Mays unit of the Franklin Mountains

Short woody bushes. With small green-yellow leaves.

Found in sand on mountain side among rocks and tightly packed gravel.

The bush is about 7ft wide and approximately 4ft tall. It grows stems that create an accumulation on the branch where they grow from (see last photo for a closeup of these)
