Found on rabbit pellets, semi-shaded soil crusts with Selaginella cinerascens. Unique habitat on surface hardpans of sandstone with ironstone nodules present, somewhat resembling the rabbit pellets.

Best guess based on thallus appearance and massive, showy apothecia with thalline margin. Growing among what looks like a tiny cyanolichen, annoyed I didn’t pick up on that when I was there.
