Continuing bird. Surprised to find out it was still here after seeing it while in town on Oct. 22nd. Checked on it twice, once on my way in and once on my way out. During the first check it was resting under some vegetation. During the second check, it was actively feeding. It caught and ate four snails during the ten minutes in which I observed it. All four snails were caught in an area of approximately 1.5 square meters.

I crept through the bushes to get a better view of the body. Below me, a swarm of startled frogs leaped into the water! I feared I wouldn't be able to get a photo, but eventually, one of the frogs returned!
