What

Northern New Guinea Crocodile (Crocodylus novaeguineae)

Date

August 1, 2024 01:05 AM +10

Description

One of at least three wild crocodiles released into the Port Moresby Golf Course. These came from the Sepik River in the north. While C. halli has been proposed, it HAS NOT been confirmed or accepted by the IUCN just yet. Even so, these animals came from the north, so they would be novaeguineae regardless.
