Here is what Lee Harding had to say: "Aonyx cinerea: digits not fully webbed, buffy throat, chest & sides of neck as depicted, and claws not extending beyond the ends of the digits."

This location seemed inappropriate for a pika, in that the edge of the lava flow was heavily grown in with vine maple.
