frostioe's Identifications

I observed, photographed and video recorded these two C. o. helleri copulating at approximately 11:00 A.M. yesterday morning. I am fairly certain these are the same individuals I observed in the exact same location in spring 2023. At that time I suspected they were a mated pair as I saw them at the same location on 3 successive visits to this spot. I will add the observation number(s) for those previous observations via an update to this note. I seem unable to upload the video as it was taken with my DSLR camera and not with my cell phone. Edit: The 2023 observation was: Observation 169102870 from 6/23/23. On 6/24/23, I observed the same two individuals together. see Observation 171076083. 70 degrees at 9:12pm. Watched until it got off the road and over the shoulder berm. Kinda surprised where I saw it at, it was in the flat open desert at 3,000 feet elevation. Usually I see them in canyons or rocky areas.
